Next Stop Timer is a kitchen timer that runs on the iPad you already own. It is built to keep everything in your kitchen. Here is exactly what happens with your data.
Timers, stations, photos and completion history are saved inside the app on the iPad you use, and the app keeps working with no internet connection at all. Nothing is sent anywhere for a timer to run.
You can use the kitchen screen without signing in. An owner account exists only for the subscription, inviting staff and copying your menu to other iPads — it holds your email address, your restaurant name, your staff list and your locations.
Signing in copies your timer setup (stations and timers) and your finished-timer history to your restaurant's own private storage, so a second iPad shows the same menu. Only people you invite to your restaurant can see it.
The kitchen, manager and iPad app screens contain no advertising and no analytics of any kind. Your recipes, timer names and completion history are never sent to an advertising or analytics service.
The public website and the live demo use Google Analytics to count visits (which page, which site sent the visitor, rough country and device type) and Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and anonymized session replays). They record no names, no email addresses and nothing about any kitchen. We use them to see which pages and guides actually help restaurants.
The camera only opens when you choose “Take photo” or “Choose photo” while creating or editing a timer, so you can attach a picture to that timer. The picture is stored on this iPad. You can delete it any time by editing the timer.
To run billing and support we can see your restaurant name, the owner's email address, subscription status, and how many staff, locations and timers a restaurant has. We do not sell or share anything.
Delete the app from the iPad, or delete individual timers and stations in the manager screen, and the data is gone. Delete your owner account from the dashboard and your restaurant's synced data goes with it.
This app is a tool for professional kitchens and is not directed at children.
